Job summary

Forsyth Tech is seeking a Lead Nursing Instructor for the Stokes Campus to oversee nursing curriculum across didactic, lab, and clinical settings. The role emphasizes student achievement, equity, and inter-campus collaboration, with remote work one day per week.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, assessment design, and mentoring of faculty, while maintaining records and supporting student success from admission through graduation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Nursing required.
• Two academic years of experience teaching in a nursing program.
• Two calendar years or full-time clinical RN experience.
• Preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education.
• Meet minimum accrediting/licensing criteria.
• Willingness to teach face-to-face, online asynchronous and online synchronous classes.
• Willingness to travel to multiple campuses or offsite locations, including high schools.
• Flexibility to teach morning, afternoon, evening and weekend classes.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, spreadsheets, presentations, and collaboration apps.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses across didactic, laboratory, and clinical settings.
• Design and implement inclusive instructional activities to maximize equitable outcomes.
• Maintain accurate student records and attendance/grades.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program improvement.
• Mentor adjunct and full-time faculty in maternal and women’s health content.
• Engage in institutional service and professional development.
