Job summary

Forsyth Tech is seeking a full-time nursing instructor for the Nursing Department. The position can start now, in the summer, or at the start of the new academic year.

Responsibilities include teaching didactic, clinical and lab components, advising, and ongoing program development. The role requires an active North Carolina RN license, a master’s degree (or progress toward it within one year), and clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Two calendar years or full-time equivalent clinical nursing experience.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or progress toward it within a year.
• Active NC RN license.

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing assignments as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Design instructional activities aligned with SACSCOC competencies.
• Maintain college records (attendance, grades, etc.).
• Advise students on academic progress and program requirements.
• Participate in program development and curriculum updates.
• Engage in department, division, and college-wide activities.
