Job summary

Sunnyside Nursing & Post-Acute Care in Torrance, CA is seeking a seasoned Senior Nurse Executive to steer clinical leadership for our 299-bed facility. You will partner with the Chief Clinical Officer to oversee daily operations, mentor a multidisciplinary team, and champion quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include planning and developing nursing programs, regulatory compliance, staffing optimization, and resident-centered care planning.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• 7+ years of DON leadership in SNF or long-term care.
• Deep knowledge of post-acute, subacute, and custodial care protocols.
• Strong communication with multidisciplinary department heads.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee nursing service plans and QA programs.
• Lead strategic committees and translate insights into action.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and surveys.
• Oversee resident care plans and advocate for quality outcomes.
