Job summary
Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking a Senior Clinical Nurse Educator to lead orientation, education, and assessment of clinical staff across units. You will serve as educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, and change agent, guiding competencies, quality, and regulatory compliance while mentoring staff and advancing evidence-based practice.
A Master's degree, Florida RN license, and BLS certification are required; five years nursing experience and two years in learning
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing or related field required.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Registered Nurse license in Florida required.
- Five years nursing experience and two years facilitating learning/professional development.
- Certification in specialty preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead committees and projects to implement educational activities.
- Onboard and orient new staff and students.
- Plan, update, and evaluate clinical competencies.
- Consult/mentor staff and leaders; act as change agent.
- Disseminate research and evidence-based practice.
- Conduct needs assessments and contribute to strategic goals.
