Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks an experienced Nursing Services Supervisor in Arlington, Texas. You will assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing daily Nursing Services operations to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Nursing degree, 3+ years of supervisory experience in health care, an active RN license, CPR certification, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.
• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures, and laws/guidelines for long-term care.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing day-to-day Nursing Services operations.
• Interpret and communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and management team meetings.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage and oversee resident care quality.
• Participate in QAPI or facility assessment activities as needed.
• Promote teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication.
• Oversee infection control and assist in budget planning.
