Job summary

Newport News Shipbuilding seeks a seasoned Training Program Manager to design and deliver comprehensive training across all personnel levels. You will develop tests, visual aids, and in-house programs to identify developmental needs and prepare staff for advancement.

Developing and evaluating training effectiveness, coordinating with vendors, and creating e-learning materials will be key responsibilities in a fast-paced, nuclear-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and progressive experience; advanced training development preferred.
• Experience developing in-house training programs and evaluating effectiveness.
• Ability to oversee vendors and develop e-learning materials.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers training programs for all personnel levels.
• Develops tests and visual aids; conducts training classes.
• Keeps abreast of learning theory and new training materials.
• Develops in-house programs to identify developmental needs and prepare for advancement.
• Oversees contractors or vendors to develop and administer training programs.
• May develop e-learning programs.
