Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a senior leader to head the development and delivery of a multi-phased training program for nuclear operators and technicians for a new generation of Nuclear Power stations. The role covers human performance engineering, curriculum development, advanced simulation tools, and courseware creation.

The candidate will guide strategic direction, establish partnerships, and ensure regulatory compliance and safety culture across training activities, including remote and simulator-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• At least 10 years of experience in BWR operations.
• At least 5 years of experience as SRO.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall strategic direction related to nuclear regulatory compliance for a Systematic Approach to Training.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with key partners on the program.
• Develop strategy for resource needs for initial program development and long-term partnerships.
• Technical direction for all phases of new training development.
• Develop innovative training approaches including remote/VR environments and simulator-based training.
• Support customer activity related to development program activities and reviews.
