Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Nuclear Supplier Quality Engineer to own the supplier oversight process for nuclear-safety materials and services. You will lead supplier audits, participate in nonconformance reporting and supplier corrective actions, and interface with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of nuclear quality, regulatory requirements, and a track record of establishing CGD and supplier qualification programs in a fast-moving

Competenze

• Bachelor degree or equivalent; 5 years nuclear experience.
• US Navy Nuclear Propulsion School graduate; 3 years nuclear experience.
• Alternative: no degree + 10 years direct nuclear experience considered.

Mansioni

• Own and lead supplier quality activities across safety-significant, nuclear-grade suppliers.
• Lead CGD program activities including planning, evaluation, and surveys.
• Plan and lead nuclear supplier qualification programs and NQA-1 compliance assessments.
• Develop and maintain supplier quality requirements framework and flow-downs.
• Investigate and resolve complex nuclear supplier nonconformances with root-cause analysis.
• Develop supplier performance measurement, risk oversight, and development programs.
• Support NRC/DOE/DOE-oversight engagements and regulatory interfaces.
