Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage the quality architecture across our external supply chain. You will ensure procured components meet technical specs and regulatory standards before integration into manufacturing and construction.

You will lead supplier qualification frameworks, perform source inspections, administer CGD plans, and manage CAPA programs across a nuclear-grade supply chain, coordinating with Procurement, Engineering, Operations, and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years nuclear/related experience.
• Experience with ASME II, ISO 9001, AS9100 or IATF 16949.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and supplier process controls.

Responsibilities

• Execute supplier qualification protocols including audits.
• Conduct on-site source inspections for compliance with drawings and codes.
• Approve CGD plans for commercial procurement.
• Administer CARs to resolve supplier nonconformances.
• Review supplier documentation like certifications and test reports.
• Evaluate supplier manufacturing against specs and QMS.
