Job summary

Valar Atomics in the United States seeks a Senior Nuclear Supplier Quality Engineer to own the supplier oversight process for nuclear safety-related materials and services, interfacing with engineering, procurement, and construction professionals.

You will lead CGD program activities, conduct supplier audits, manage NCR/SCAR processes, and develop quality system documentation in alignment with NQA-1 and regulatory requirements, while mentoring the team in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent with 5+ years nuclear experience; or Navy Nuclear with 3+ years.
• Lead auditor certification in NQA-1 or equivalent.
• Experience building CGD programs and supplier qualification in nuclear context.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead supplier quality activities across safety-significant and nuclear-grade suppliers.
• Plan, lead, and own CGD program activities and CGD surveys.
• Plan, lead supplier qualification programs including audits and NQA-1 compliance.
• Mentor supplier quality engineers and develop quality procedures.
