Job summary

AAF International in Louisville, KY, seeks an experienced Nuclear Solutions Engineer to deliver custom-engineered air filtration and related systems for nuclear power plants, research facilities, and other nuclear applications worldwide.

You will support projects from concept through installation and ongoing support, ensuring compliance with stringent nuclear standards and regulatory expectations (NRC, DOE, DOD, and international equivalents).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering and 5+ years in nuclear industry applications.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings and documents; understanding of nuclear codes/standards.
• Experience with quotation preparation, costing, and technical-commercial customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Act as core member of Nuclear Solutions team across the full lifecycle: concept, design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
• Modify standard products to meet client needs with attention to drawings, specs and nuclear standards.
• Review customer specifications for risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements.
