Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of nuclear plant safety analysis experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical).
• Ability to deliver technical presentations to communicate status and recommendations.
• Interest in software programming and code development is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assess models for two-phase flow and heat transfer.
• Use statistical techniques for realistic nuclear reactor safety analysis.
• Evaluate impacts of plant modifications on design analysis.
• Maintain cognizance of licensing basis and Analysis of Record.
• Serve as point of contact for LOCA inquiries.
• Mentor newer engineers.
• Identify and suggest process improvements.
• Participate on project teams with schedules and cost estimates.
