Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Nuclear Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of applicable nuclear safety analysis.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues: project status, problem resolution, engineering recommendations.
• Beneficial: Interest in software programming and code development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the develop and assess thermal-hydraulic models to perform safety analysis calculations.
• Lead reload safety evaluations for each plant cycle.
• Lead plant specific licensing basis, analyses of record.
• Be point of contact for plant-specific Safety Analysis inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Lead the Evaluation of impacts of plant modifications and operating changes on design analysis.
• Lead project teams and mentor colleagues.
