Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Senior Nuclear Engineer for Fort Worth, TX, to support quality systems, engineering assurance, and corrective-action programs in a highly regulated facility.

The role collaborates with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure compliance with standards and drive continuous improvement in high-reliability operations, with relocation considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within structured processes and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS) and related engineering assurance programs.
• Lead Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other engineering risk assessments.
• Lead and close 8D corrective action investigations, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews as required.
• Develop and maintain engineering procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure quality and reliability requirements are integrated into daily activities.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve system reliability, compliance, and operational performance.
