Responsibilities

• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews as required.
• Develop and maintain engineering procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure quality and reliability requirements are integrated into daily activities.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve system reliability, compliance, and operational performance.

Senior Nuclear Engineer – Fort Worth, Texas

An advanced industrial organization supporting safety-critical operations is seeking an experienced Engineer to support quality systems, engineering assurance, and corrective action initiatives within a regulated operational environment. This role is well suited for engineers with backgrounds in mechanical, nuclear, or related engineering disciplines who are comfortable working in high-reliability industrial settings.

The Engineer will work closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure compliance with established standards while supporting continuous improvement and disciplined operational practices across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS) and related engineering assurance programs.
• Lead Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other engineering risk assessments.
• Lead and close 8D corrective action investigations, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews as required.

Required / Preferred Experience

• Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments strongly preferred.
• NQA-1 experience preferred, but candidates with strong FMEA and corrective action experience will also be considered.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in industrial, power generation, manufacturing, energy, or other high-reliability environments.
• Experience supporting quality programs, investigations, or engineering assurance activities.
