Job summary

Aalo Atomics in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with deep nuclear QA experience to lead NQA-1 compliance, supplier qualification, and oversight across manufacturing operations.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Director, you will strengthen the inspection program, train inspectors, and coordinate audits with NRC, DOE, and ASME to ensure traceability, safety culture, and regulatory alignment throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in nuclear QA programs and regulatory standards.
• Experience with DOE/NRC QA requirements and ASME sections.
• Ability to lead supplier evaluations and audits.
• Strong training and qualification program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the NQA-1 QA program across operations.
• Develop and manage personnel qualification, training, and certification.
• Administer inspector training, recertification, and competency verification.
• Oversee supplier qualification processes and source inspections.
• Manage nonconformance, CAPA, root cause analysis, and S/CI controls.
• Coordinate audits with NRC, DOE, ASME, and customers.
