Job summary

slihrms is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Commercial Nuclear Services. This remote role reports to the Senior Director and is based from the Oak Ridge, TN area, overseeing complex nuclear projects.

You will lead project teams, define scope, drive delivery, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with 15+ years in commercial nuclear and 10+ years in project management and leadership, including live reactor environments.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience in complex projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Deep knowledge of nuclear safety culture and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to develop and execute work plans, budgets and schedules.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams across engineering, safety, quality and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more commercial nuclear projects from inception to execution.
• Develop work breakdown structures, schedules and budgets.
• Recruit and train project staff and assign work.
• Ensure safety culture and compliance with corporate standards.
• Manage contract scope, changes, and subcontractor performance.
• Provide risk analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
