Job summary

Energy Northwest is seeking a Project Manager II–New Nuclear to lead development plans for new nuclear projects in a highly regulated environment. The role requires coordinating with client teams, guiding cost tracking, and ensuring governance compliance across all phases.

You will develop staffing estimates, manage budgets, and oversee contracts with vendors while maintaining risk controls and schedule integrity. This position offers strong retirement and health benefits in Washington state.

Qualifications

  • Requires bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, project management, business, or related field and 14 years in a regulated environment with PM principles.
  • Project Manager I: bachelor’s degree with 8 years PM experience in a regulated environment; 5 years in nuclear-related PM possible.
  • PM certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage development for new nuclear generation, including plans and schedules per governance policies.
  • Coordinate with client project teams to ensure effective support and budget adherence.
  • Develop client support plans and budgets; track costs and invoicing per contract requirements.
  • Provide interface with risk management processes and governance committees.
  • Develop and manage contracts and vendor interfaces; oversee project schedules and critical paths.
