Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA, seeks a Principal Project Manager to lead a major engineered equipment scope for a nuclear component replacement project. The role requires coordinating design, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and site implementation, with on-site work 2–3 days per week.

You will guide cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, quality, manufacturing, field services, and suppliers, ensuring milestones and risk management are addressed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant job experience required, with applicable disciplines including Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of applicable project management experience in technical industries such as nuclear power, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or major component delivery.
• Experience managing moderate to high-complexity projects and leading project teams.
• Experience with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, suppliers, and field execution.
• Nuclear industry and major component replacement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management and execution of a major engineered equipment scope from design and procurement through fabrication, delivery, and site implementation.
• Manage and integrate all aspects of assigned project scope, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders.
• Manage the project interface with major equipment suppliers and subcontractors, including schedule, technical interfaces, deliverables, actions, risks, and coordination.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, cost forecasts, risk registers, action tracking, and other project controls.
• Integrate supplier activities and deliverables with the overall project schedule and milestones.
• Lead cross-functional coordination among engineering, procurement, quality, manufacturing, field services, supply chain, and other organizations.
• Identify emerging issues, risks, constraints, and cross-functional dependencies and drive mitigation or escalation as appropriate.
• Support customer communications and project reviews, including presentation of project status, schedule, risks, upcoming activities, and required decisions.
• Interpret and communicate project and contractual requirements and support effective management of changes affecting assigned scope.
• Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and project partners.
• Provide leadership and direction to project team members and support a collaborative, accountable project culture.
• Support broader project initiatives and leadership needs as priorities evolve through execution.
• Identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement and apply them to improve project performance.
