Job summary

Framatome North America is seeking an experienced engineer to support licensing of nuclear fuel products in commercial reactors. You will collaborate with project managers and multiple engineering teams to develop and execute plans, while tracking progress and communicating with regulators and customers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields, at least 3 years of experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or Physics/Engineering Technology may be accepted).
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Good communication skills to convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and lead when needed.
• Strong problem solving and self-checking mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Managers and Engineering teams on large projects supporting licensing of Fuel products in Commercial Nuclear Reactors.
• Create and execute project plans.
• Obtain status updates from multiple engineering disciplines and report to management.
• Facilitate solutions for technical issues across Neutronics, Safety Analysis, Thermal-Hydraulics, or Fuel Rod Analyses.
• Provide communications to customers or regulators as needed.
