Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Engineer for nuclear plant operations in Arkansas. The role supports addressing plant issues, maintains configuration control, and collaborates with maintenance and operations teams to implement engineering changes for reliability.

Positions can be filled at Engineer I–Sr Lead levels based on experience, with travel up to 25%. A BS in Civil/Mechanical Engineering is required and professional licensure is desirable.

Qualifications

• Identifies and resolves plant issues and serves as liaison between engineering and Operations/Maintenance.
• Maintains configuration control for the plant and supports project life cycle planning.
• Experience with design changes, temporary modifications, and reliability improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supports Maintenance, Operations, and other on-site teams to resolve plant issues from major events.
• Maintain Emergency Response Organization qualifications and duties.
• Interface with Maintenance and Operations for cost-effective maintenance strategies and engineering changes.
• Assist in planning and prioritization of project life cycle activities.
• Implement action plans to address deficiencies via corrective action and work management processes.
• Develop engineering products per defined standards; participate in outage teams and training.
