Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Engineer I–Senior Lead in Civil Design to serve as design authority for site modifications at the Killona facility. The role emphasizes maintaining design bases, providing cost‑effective solutions, and supporting operations, maintenance and outages.

The position requires a BS in engineering or related field with progressive experience, including seismic/structural analysis and PE where applicable. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related science; equivalent work experience accepted.
• Experience levels span Engineer I–Senior Lead with increasing responsibility.
• Ability to perform structural and seismic analyses per nuclear codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the design basis for each site and support licensing basis.
• Provide cost‑effective modification designs to improve performance.
• Offer technical support to operations, maintenance, and site teams.
• Support safe operation by resolving issues via corrective actions and work management.
• Develop engineering products per defined standards and procedures.
• Serve on outage engineering support teams and maintain qualifications.
