Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Sr. Nuclear Outage Mechanical Planner for a 1-year contract in Homestead, FL.

You will develop comprehensive work packages for maintenance, modifications, and surveillance at nuclear facilities, requiring advanced planning and strong knowledge of nuclear systems. Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field, or equivalent 10 years plant experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related science.
• Experience: 7+ years of nuclear power plant experience, with at least 4 years in maintenance planning or equivalent technical role.
• Demonstrated progression in planning responsibilities and complexity of work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed work order task descriptions, including step-by-step instructions, material requirements, tool lists, and post-maintenance testing requirements.
• Plan complex maintenance activities including ASME Section XI work, ISI/IST programs, and modification packages.
• Ensure work packages comply with regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and plant procedures.
• Coordinate clearance requirements and equipment isolation strategies with Operations.
