Job summary

Harrisburg Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging services at our Harrisburg facility. You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient information accuracy.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine, IEMA/BLS/ARRT or CNMT certification, and at least 1 year of technical experience with leadership responsibilities anticipated after 5 years in the role.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.
• IEMA certification is required.
• ARRT or CNMT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Technical experience of 1 year is preferred.
• Lead role requires 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals.
• Maintains imaging equipment and QC.
• Ensures radioactive materials are properly received, stored, inventoried and disposed.
• Verifies patient information.
