Job summary

University of Miami Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Level II to perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures, ensuring high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure. The role requires three years of relevant experience, graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, NMTCB or ARRT-N certification, and Florida license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.
• Supervise and perform imaging studies under radiologist supervision.
• Assist with education and training of new physicians/staff.
• Develop new imaging protocols in collaboration with radiologists.
• Participate in research initiatives and protocol development.
• Provide on-call coverage and ensure radiation safety compliance.
