Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Specialist to lead advanced diagnostic and service activities across multi-site nuclear medicine systems. You will diagnose, repair, deploy upgrades, and coordinate with staff, vendors, IT, and CE teams to ensure safety, quality, and uptime.

The role emphasizes training, QA/QC, and adherence to safety policies for radiology equipment, with strong emphasis on clinical workflow improvements and patient safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of nuclear medicine theory and physics.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex systems in nuclear medicine.
• Experience interfacing with PACS and network protocols for imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist equipment operational issues and document operator error problems.
• Perform advanced diagnosis, installation/upgrade, and service/repair on assigned systems.
• Coordinate information between staff, vendors, and IT to ensure resolution and follow-up.
• Design, implement, and document devices used to test nuclear medicine devices.
• Create training classes for nuclear medicine system setups.
• Perform initial equipment inspection and setup for new devices and systems.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and QA per manufacturer guidelines.
• Manage projects and meet milestones with cross-functional teams.
• Document work in CE medical systems management system.
• Maintain on-call responsibilities as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
