Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking a Biomedical Engineer II focused on Healthcare Tech Management for the Main campus. The role centers on nuclear medicine and PET systems, ensuring safe operation, proper maintenance, and effective technical support across departments.

Responsibilities include QA, calibration, training, interfacing with PACS, and coordinating with vendors and clinical teams to uphold accreditation standards and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nuclear medicine theory and physics.
• Experience with imaging equipment and clinical workflow.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex hardware/software systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostics, installation/upgrade and service/repair of assigned systems.
• Coordinate with users, vendors, and CE teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide QA, QC, safety testing and documentation per guidelines.
• Design, implement, and document tests for nuclear medicine devices and software.
• Maintain on-call responsibilities and meet project milestones.
