Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging, support imaging staff, and ensure smooth patient flow. You may work across shifts and campuses, troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and maintain imaging safety and archives in PACS.

Responsibilities include assisting radiologists, upholding core values, and complying with state and federal regulations while providing high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
• 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Meets CHRISTUS competencies and supports staff development.
• Promotes adherence to hospital policies and standards of care.
• Supports radiologists and physicians to optimize patient throughput.
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored in PACS.
• Troubleshoots equipment and reports malfunctions to the director or biomed.
• Adapts patient assessment and care to individual needs while maintaining safety.
• Maintains radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
