Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Nuclear in Pittsburgh, PA to lead mechanical and piping engineering within multidisciplinary teams across nuclear sectors. You will support project scope, cost, and schedule while adhering to NQMS, interfacing with vendors and clients, and participating in HAZOP reviews.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 7–10 years of experience, and familiarity with ASME NQA-1 and nuclear codes.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 7–10 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with PWR/BWR plants.
• Familiarity with ASME NQA-1 and nuclear codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and piping engineering within multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project scope, cost, and schedule delivery.
• Interface with vendors and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in HAZOP reviews and QA processes.
