Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced License Renewal Engineer to support nuclear power plants across the US. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in engineering within the nuclear industry, handling regulatory compliance and technical documentation. Responsibilities include managing license renewal applications and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work 3 days a week with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 10 or more years of experience in engineering, licensing engineering, or design engineering, ideally within the nuclear industry.
• Experience delivering accurate, high-quality technical documentation in a highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with nuclear QA/QC protocols and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Perform System Scoping, Screening, and Aging Management Review of nuclear plant systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with NRC regulations.
• Interact with clients and/or NRC in a technical expert role.
