ReNuke Services is seeking a Nuclear Licensing Engineer SME for a client site in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on advanced licensing and regulatory compliance, with independence and recognition as a subject matter expert in regulatory matters affecting licensing and compliance.

The candidate will prepare high-quality products with minimal supervision, mentor junior Regulatory Affairs staff, and support NRC inspections and interface activities related to licensing and compliance.

Qualifications

• 15 years nuclear licensing experience.
• Experience with licensing documentation for power uprates.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensing expertise and support on regulatory matters affecting licensing and compliance.
• Assist and mentor junior Regulatory Affairs staff.
• Support external interface activities impacting licensing, operability, reportability and NRC inspections.
