Job summary

Burns & McDonnell’s Power Global Practice is seeking experienced I&C engineers to join our Nuclear team, supporting operating plants and new build projects including SMRs and other advanced reactors. You will work on design, procurement, construction management, and licensing for nuclear facilities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in engineering with 7+ years of experience or FE with relevant degree.
• Master's degree can substitute 1 year of experience.
• PE license preferred and ability to obtain site access at U.S. nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C design from concept through design completion.
• Provide LOE estimates for proposals and capability summaries.
• Interface with clients to report progress and resolve issues.
• Manage budgets and schedules for technical deliverables.
• Lead I&C and control system deliverables (DCS/PLC) and FAT.
• Review I&C packages and vendor documentation; manage suppliers.
• Develop P&ID drawings and instrumentation data sheets.
• Ensure compliance with ASME NQA-1 safety requirements.
• Travel up to 25% for site support.
