Job summary

Framatome seeks a US Fuel Reliability Manager in Richland, WA. You will lead engineers and scientists addressing fuel reliability issues, including fuel failure investigations and water chemistry evaluation, guiding the PIE program and collaborating with international colleagues.

You will interface with internal stakeholders such as Fuel Design and Manufacturing Quality, and represent Framatome to utilities, EPRI, INPO, and NRC on fuel performance topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with all levels of staff, management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the timely execution of engineering activities within designated cost center(s).
• Ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with policies and customer standards.
• Develop and/or administer engineering standards and procedures for the group.
• Provide goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.
• Ensure development and training of team members to optimize task results.
• Work interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
• Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
• Contribute to special projects as directed.
