Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Principal Field Specialist to lead all project management processes on highly complex projects. You will supervise large teams and may serve as technical inputs lead for proposals, reporting to the Manager of Reactor & Balance of Plant Inspection Operations.

This is a remote position that can be performed from anywhere in the United States and will require up to 50% travel for outage work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, construction management or related technical degree or equivalent technical experience in an industrial environment.
• 10 years of project manager experience or 5 years of PM/supervisor experience and 5 years in technical role.
• Westinghouse PM qualification in progress or willing to complete in designated time frame.
• Expertise of PMBOK.
• Obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant and work with hazardous materials.
• Willingness to travel for outages (spring/fall) up to 50% of time.
• Physical requirements: lift 50–60 lbs; climb ladders; work in industrial/radiological environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop project plans, scopes, schedules, and baselines.
• Lead end-to-end project execution and control, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee project closeout, documentation, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer.
• Interpret and communicate contract requirements to functional groups.
• Coordinate with other project groups to align objectives and actions.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
