Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks a Project Manager 2 / Superintendent 3 to lead construction projects supporting Laboratory missions. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, resources, safety, and technical performance for projects valued at $500,000 or less and mentor Superintendent 2 personnel.

The role requires advanced construction project management experience, strong leadership, and extensive knowledge of facility maintenance, construction operations, and nuclear facility

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or science discipline with relevant coursework in project management.
• Minimum 10 years leading construction project management and related field experience.
• Strong understanding of facility maintenance, decommissioning, and construction operations.
• Experience with EVMS, project controls, cost management and schedule performance.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to direct project teams and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects valued at $500,000 or less and oversee Superintendent 2 personnel.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, safety, and technical performance.
• Serve as CAM for planning, budgeting, and controlling project costs and schedule.
• Coordinate with project controls, program management, line management, stakeholders, and sponsors.
• Prepare and present technical and project status reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
