Job summary

Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) is seeking a senior Emergency Preparedness leader to monitor, peer review, and assist nuclear power stations in emergency management. You will interact with utility personnel, INPO/WANO management, and industry groups to strengthen readiness and compliance.

You will lead evaluations, help develop and maintain emergency response capabilities, and participate in Industry Response Center drills and FLEX/SAFER assessments.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of professional work experience.
• Four+ years of experience in emergency preparedness.
• Two years of supervisory or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent INPO on Emergency Preparedness issues with industry stakeholders.
• Lead Emergency Preparedness evaluator on WANO peer reviews.
• Develop and maintain INPO's emergency response capabilities.
• Participate in Industry Response Center drills and FLEX/SAFER assessments.
• Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally to site visits.
