Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineering Technician for Nuclear Design. The role focuses on electrical systems design, drafting, and technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities include developing 2D/3D deliverables with Bentley MicroStation, verifying design inputs, and maintaining quality and schedules while coordinating with stakeholders. Experience with AGI32 is preferred for lighting design in nuclear facilities.

Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of 15 years related work experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.
• Citizenship requirements outlined in 10 CFR 810 may apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead technician, technical design specialist, and/or supervisory role.
• Apply advanced technical expertise to solve complex design challenges.
• Create, modify, and maintain technical drawings using CAD/BIM/3D tools.
• Ensure quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
• Coordinate across departments and supervise technicians as needed.
• Establish and enforce design standards and document control.
