Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering or closely related discipline (Physical Sciences) with equivalent experience.
• Master's degree in engineering is desirable.
• Professional Engineering license (Nuclear discipline) is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to core reload projects with design and licensing of the core, including fabrication, fuel reliability and transportation.
• Collaborate on fuel and core designs to lead in advanced technologies for improved fuel performance and cost effectiveness.
• Support reload and startup activities, ensuring engineering work is performed with quality and predictability; capture fleet lessons learned.
• Maintain detailed core models to support site reactor engineering and other plant functions safely and reliably.
• Provide reactor physics and fuel criticality expertise for analytical bases used at each plant's licensing.
