Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, NPI Quality for our Consumer Technology program. You will serve as the technical and operational authority for executing the NPI quality framework, bridging advanced manufacturing with rapid scaling and customer expectations.

You will oversee inspection setup, real-time defect resolution, metallurgical validation, and FAI releases for high-stakes consumer hardware launches, leading a team of engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive quality engineering and leadership in high-consequence manufacturing.
• Active floor presence; work closely with engineers, operators, and equipment.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Quality fields; Master’s preferred.
• Deep GD&T, metrology, tolerance analysis, and SPC/Cpk proficiency.
• Experience with FAI/PPAP and ECO/ECN processes; ISO/IATF familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI quality plans from development to serial production on the floor.
• Oversee metrology validation (CMM, optical methods) and metallurgical testing.
• Manage CAPA and drive root-cause investigations using data analytics.
• Interface with tier-one customers; lead FAI/AS9102 reviews.
• Establish SPC and MRB processes; ensure high yield and quality.
• Collaborate with process engineers and machinists to embed DFQ and GD&T.
