Responsibilities

• Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Lead Materials Core Team and coordinate deliverables through matrix management.
• Create, release and maintain project materials strategy; negotiate supplier terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct risk assessments.
• Identify make-vs-buy opportunities and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Support development of road maps for critical parts and long-lead items.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet cost and schedule targets.
