Job summary
Intepros is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product innovation for Baja consumable lines in San Diego.
The role leads manufacturing engineering from concept through commercialization, develops and validates processes, and collaborates with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive quality, yield, throughput and cost improvements.
Qualifications
- Senior-level manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong NPI/new product introduction background.
- Product/process development and commercialization.
- Process validation and qualification.
- Continuous improvement/Lean manufacturing.
- Root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing engineering activities from concept through commercialization
- Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes
- Support NPI, process development, and product launches
- Drive process improvements for quality, yield, throughput, and cost
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain
- Support equipment/process qualification and manufacturing readiness
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
