Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in process development, scale-up, technology transfer, or manufacturing commercialization.
• Experience in personal care, cosmetics, OTC, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and drive operational excellence.
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead scale-up and technology transfer activities from laboratory development through commercial production.
• Oversee the transition of formulations from bench scale to pilot and full manufacturing environments.
• Establish and optimize critical process parameters including mixing, heating/cooling, shear rates, vacuum pressure, and hold times.
• Support pilot runs and commercial launches while troubleshooting production and quality challenges.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, and Operations to identify and mitigate scale-up risks.
• Drive root cause investigations, CAPA activities, and continuous process improvements.
• Lead a multi-site scale-up team, with direct leadership across multiple locations.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
