Job summary

Silgan Dispensing in Thomaston, CT seeks a Senior NPD Technical Program Manager to lead development projects from concept through launch. You will drive cost, time, and quality objectives, coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and QA, and manage tooling and molding programs for new product offerings.

The ideal candidate holds a Master or Engineering degree and 5–7 years in plastics/packaging FMCG project management, with strong English communication and cross‑functional leadership across

Qualifications

Master or Engineering degree in Project management or Mechanical / Plastics / Packaging.
5–7 years in a similar function as product development projects manager for FMCG products.
Experience with plastic injection technology and international teams.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Act as key contact for new product development, ensuring technical superiority and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate tooling design with customers to meet cost targets and mold specifications.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams to meet Quality/Time to Market/Cost goals.
Provide weekly status updates to plant and sales management.
Support Marketing and Sales with technical product information.
