Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Senior Project Manager – New Product Development in West Hartford, CT to lead cross-functional NPD programs from concept through commercialization. You will align Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, Quality, Marketing, and Customer Service to drive successful product launches.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and execution discipline in a fast-paced development environment, with travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business, project management, operations, marketing, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP and/or Agile certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional New Product Development programs from concept through commercialization and post-launch review.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Test, Sourcing, Advanced Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service to achieve KPIs.
• Define and manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and KPIs; communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Lead Stage-Gate reviews and ensure compliance with product development processes and governance.
• Support business cases, launch readiness, commercialization plans, and post-launch reviews.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change impacts.
• Provide regular project reviews, dashboards, and portfolio reporting to leadership.
