You will guide cross-functional teams from concept through production launch, applying system-level engineering to optimize performance, manufacturability, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 9+ years in NPD of complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience with generator or power generation products.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of new product development programs, serving as a system-level engineer responsible for integration, design maturity, and on-time delivery.
• Lead teams to architect, design, and integrate complex mechanical and electrical systems for generator and power generation products.
• Translate customer, regulatory, and business requirements into system- and component-level functional and performance requirements.
• Design, test, and integrate complex components and assemblies; evaluate designs for cost, reliability, safety, and compliance.
• Drive design reviews and technical decision-making, mitigating system integration risks.
• Develop, execute, and evaluate testing, product specs, and process validation plans for complex generator systems.
• Utilize CAD and CAE tools (Creo) to develop system layouts and detailed drawings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to optimize designs for manufacturability and serviceability.
• Support program planning and execution with schedules, cost estimates, and launch readiness.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for integration, performance, or quality issues.
