Job summary

Castelion Corporation in Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own nozzle manufacturing for solid rocket motors. You will lead process definition for machining, bonding, insulation, and assembly for high-reliability propulsion hardware supporting hypersonic programs.

You will develop and qualify manufacturing sequences, fixtures, and control plans, drive DFMEA/SPC programs, and collaborate across Design, Quality, Tooling, and Production to deliver nozzle hardware from

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Aerospace or related field.
• 6–10+ years in aerospace/defense propulsion manufacturing.
• 3+ years owning nozzle-related hardware production.

Responsibilities

• Own nozzle manufacturing processes and interfaces for SRMs.
• Develop manufacturing sequences, fixtures, and control plans.
• Lead DFM/DFA, PFMEA, and SPC to improve yield and cost.
• Define in-process inspection and NDE strategies.
