Job summary

Castelion Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support solid rocket motor development for strategic defense systems in Midland, TX. This full-time role collaborates with engineering teams to advance designs, oversee site maintenance, and mature manufacturing, assembly, and integration processes.

You will work on fast-paced testing operations, handle energetic precursors, and help define efficient production workflows while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in aerospace, manufacturing, materials, mechanical engineering or physics.
• 3+ years in aerospace or energetics with operations support.
• Experience building complex energetic aerospace components.
• CAD design using SolidWorks or NX; understands statics, dynamics & thermal.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate operation/test activities for high-consequence testing.
• Handle volatile energetic precursors in solid rocket motor manufacturing.
• Batch and mix precursor chemicals.
• Document testing and QA measurements to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with engineering to turn concepts into reality.
• Schedule and plan workflow for optimal operations.
• Interpret drawings and regulated documentation.
