Job summary

Castelion Corporation seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer specialized in structural bonding to develop, qualify, and scale bonded-joint manufacturing for solid rocket motors and related hypersonic hardware. You will own process definition, surface preparation, adhesive selection and cure control, and inspection, partnering with Design, Quality, Tooling & Automation, Production, and Site Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/engineering fields.
• Experience in aerospace/defense bonded structures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing processes for structural bonding in SRM hardware.
• Develop and qualify surface preparation, adhesive application, fixturing, cure and inspection processes.
• Execute DFM/DFA, PFMEA, control plans, and SPC for bonded assemblies.
• Lead root-cause analysis for disbonds, voids, or incomplete cure.
• Author and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
