Job summary

Castelion Corporation seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with deep experience in structural bonding to develop, qualify, and scale bonded-joint manufacturing for solid rocket motors and related hypersonic hardware. You will own process definition, surface preparation, adhesive selection, cure control, inspection, and yield improvement on high-rate production.

Qualifications

6–10+ years of aerospace/defense manufacturing engineering experience.
3+ years owning structural-bonding processes (composite or metal-to-composite).
Experience qualifying bonding processes and transitioning them to production.

Responsibilities

Own manufacturing processes for structural bonding of SRM hardware and bonded assemblies.
Develop and qualify surface-prep, adhesive application, fixturing, cure, and inspection processes.
Implement DFM/PFMEA, control plans, and SPC for bonded assemblies; drive yield improvements.
Define in-process inspection and NDE strategies for bond-line integrity.
Design or specify bonding fixtures, dispensing, cure tooling, and related equipment.
Support NPI and design changes with producibility input on joints and assembly sequence.
