Qualifications

• Accounting leadership experience within a nonprofit organization
• Experience with state-funded contracts or human services programs
• Knowledge of UFR reporting, federal grants, Single Audit requirements, or Medicaid billing
• Strong GAAP, audit, financial reporting, and Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Leading accounting operations and the month-end close
• Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, AP and AR
• Managing fund, contract, and grant accounting
• Supporting annual audits, Form 990 preparation, compliance, and internal controls
• Developing the accounting team and improving financial processes
